Ellacard app for Slack

How to install and use the Ellacard app for Slack

By Alex Exarhos, August 27, 2025

Did you know that Ellacard has an app for Slack? You can use it to quickly search for and send our e-cards for free directly within Slack. Once installed, use the command /ellacard to search for the right greeting card for occasions like birthdays, work anniversaries, retirements, and more.

You can't customize designs or invite contributors to group-sign a card directly within Slack itself, but you can quickly send the cover page of any of our generic still or animated designs, just like you can with an image or GIF library like Giphy.

Just enter the command /ellacard followed by any search terms, and you'll see a preview where you can cycle through random card designs that match your search, open the design on Ellacard to customize it or send it as a group-signed card, or just send the cover in the current channel.
